God Is Still Working On Us
“For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.” Ephesians 2:10, NKJV.
There was a movie several years ago about a man who was remodeling his house. The movie showed all the trouble he went through to get the house remodeled. It ended up being a big ordeal and the costs were outrageous.
Many of us might be able to relate to that movie as we have either remodeled our house or even built a new one. The experience can seem almost endless with many problems and decisions to overcome.
In a spiritual sense, we are a building project and God is the contractor and He continues His good work on us that we might bring Glory to Jesus Christ. I’ve often wondered if He ever grows weary of His work on us.
No matter how difficult we make the building process on God, He will never give up on us and He will continue to finish what He started with us when He saved us. He wants His finished work to bring honor and glory to His Son, Jesus Christ. Let it happen!
Be encouraged today in knowing that you are a special work of God and He is not done with you yet. You are still under construction.
