The Game’s Not Over Yet
“But thank God! He gives us victory over sin and death through our Lord Jesus Christ.” 1 Corinthians 15:57, NLT
When the game begins, the score is 0 to 0. We then set through the appropriate time of the game to see which team wins. We watch as the players compete with their very best effort to win the game for their team.
The spectators watch with great anticipation to see who will win the game. The benches may be hard, the weather may be cold, hot, or even rainy, but we stay to the end to see the final score.
In our verse for today, we are told who wins in the game of life. We Do! The Christians! It tells us that we will win this war over temptation, sin, and even the ole’ devil and we will be victorious.
Do you feel like you are losing in the great battle against the devil? Well, remember, the game’s not over yet. Don’t give up. It’s not really a game. It’s really a war so never stop fighting because in the end; you win!
Thank God for the victory and thank God that we already know the final score in this war against the devil that is trying to defeat and destroy us.
