Show Someone A Lot Of Love Today
“And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.” 1 Corinthians 13:13, NKJV
Love is a powerful emotion that was given to man by a loving God in order that mankind might build and maintain lifelong relationships between one another.
Of course, the world has perverted the love that God exhibited to mankind.
The love that God wants us to show to one another is loyal, lasting, and loving.
Our love is to be loyal; that is to say we are to love even in spite of the difficult days when we may not always get along with those we love. Love is to be loyal.
Our love is to be lasting; that is to say that real love is not temporary or real love is not conditional. Our love cannot be based upon some conditions that we have placed upon another person. Our love is to be lasting.
Our love is to be loving; that is to say that our love is to be active. Love is more than just the word. Love is to be loving; both active and reactive. Others should be able to see our love without us ever declaring our love.
On this Valentine’s Day express your love for someone not only in word but in action as well. Go beyond the normal for this day which is candy, flowers, etc.
Show them the true character of the love that you have for them.
