Get Your Armor On
“Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.” Ephesians 6:13, NKJV
Proper dress is essential. If you’re a football player, you put on shoulder pads. If you’re a state trooper, you wear a uniform and a gun.
If you’re a Christian, only one wardrobe will do: the full armor of God with which you can resist and overcome Satan.
Are there some things or people that are in your life that are worth fighting for? Our verse for today tells us we should have “the full armor of God on” before we fight.
Read this verse; “For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.” Ephesians 6:12, NKJV
The time is growing near for us Christians to get up, stand up, and dress up. Dress up with the whole armor of God with the sole purpose of fighting a spiritual battle defending our children, our grandchildren, our schools, our nation, our marriages, even our way of life.
Be encouraged today and do not fear the enemy. God has well equipped every believer with all of His armor. All we need to do it to put it on every day.
