He Is Risen!
“Why do you seek the living among the dead? He is not here, for He is risen, as He said…” Matthew 28:6, NKJV
This one single day sets the Christian faith apart from every other religion on the planet. “He is not here, for He is risen”!
Every other religion must point to their leaders in their graves. They have built monuments around their graves. As Christians, there are no monuments to build because Jesus Christ does not rest quietly in a grave. He sets at the right hand of God making intercession for us. He is not dead. He is alive, just like He promised.
This day continues to give Christians hope where others have no hope. Our Savior is alive and lives within the hearts of all believers. He was the “first fruit” of the resurrection and we will follow Him in that resurrection when He returns to take His children to their “home not made with hands”. That place we call heaven.
Be encouraged today in knowing that Christ lives. In Revelation 1:8, Jesus said, “I Am He who is and was and who is to come, the Almighty.”
