Listen To God!
“For the LORD gives wisdom; From His mouth come knowledge and understanding.” Proverbs 2:6, NKJV
Years ago there was a television ad about an investing company named E.F. Hutton. The ad basically said, “When E.F. Hutton speaks, people listen.”
Our scripture for the day tells us that the Lord is full of wisdom and from His mouth comes knowledge and understanding. These are all things that we need to know.
We should say today, “When the Lord speaks, people listen”. However, I am afraid that is not always the case.
It may not be the case for others but it certainly should be the case for us. We should listen and listen intently when the Lord speaks to us.
I’m afraid we are so busy telling Him what we need and want that we miss those times that He does speak to us.
Be encouraged today in knowing that the Lord still does speak to His children. We need to hear what He wants to say to us about our lives. He has wisdom, knowledge and understanding for us.
When God speaks, let us listen.
