Aim High
“Where there is no vision, the people perish…..” Proverbs 29:18, NKJV
Our success or our failures in the things we try are tied directly to our personal vision that we have for ourselves. Aim low and you will land low. Aim high and you will land high.
One is reminded of the classic story of the two shoe salesmen who were sent to a primitive island to determine business potential. The first salesman wired back, “Coming home immediately. No one here wears shoes.” The second man responded, “Send a boatload of shoes immediately. The possibilities for selling shoes here are unlimited.”
Our scripture for today reminds of that timeless truth. It is telling us that when we don’t have a vision, we will fail and we will fail miserably.
That vision might be a vision about a job, a career, a diet or just daily tasks; but have a vision that will motivate you toward accomplishing something in your life. Set the vision in your mind and your heart and keep pushing till your vision is complete.
