These Things I Know
“I Know We Can Lean On God”
“In God is my salvation and my glory; the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God.” Psalm 62:7, NKJV
Sometimes, our burdens are so heavy we just need someone to lean on. It might be our spouse, other family members, or a close friend; but there are times that we just need to lean on something.
Recently there was a video of someone finishing a marathon race which is 26 miles long. As they neared the finish of this grueling race, the runner was seen leaning of a friend that was there to help during the race.
Life is like that many times. We are not running a 100 yard dash here; we are engaged in a grueling marathon. We need someone to lean on from time to time.
In our scripture today, we see that God is our rock; the one that we can lean on during the difficult times of our race. God is the rock of our strength and our refuge in troubled times.
Are you weary today from life and the stress of troubled times? Are you at a point where you just need to lean on someone?
Be encouraged today, in knowing that you may lean of God any time you need Him. He’s there and He will never disappoint you.
