God Is Just Trying To Remodel Us
“For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus…..” Ephesians 2:10, NKJV
Remodeling your home can be a real challenge. There are many decisions to make. There can be quite a bit of money involved. There are scheduling issues. Your home may be in a mess for a while during the remodel. The process can stress you out.
Our scripture for today talks about a different kind of remodel. When you decide to remodel your home, you look around and see what you would like to change or remodel in your home. Then you go to work.
In our spiritual remodel process, we need to look around in our life and see what needs to be changed or remodeled. Once we have determined what needs to be changed, we go to work to change those things. Or, we begin the remodeling process of our life.
Perhaps we notice that our attitude could be changed into a more positive attitude. Perhaps we notice that we need to drop that old grudge we’ve been holding onto for a long time. Perhaps we notice that we need to spend more time in prayer or personal bible study. You get the idea of the spiritual remodel process; right?
God just happens to be the best remodeling contractor that I know. I’ve seen Him change many lives and always for the better. Even the spiritual remodel process can be somewhat stressful but well worth your effort. Change is usually not easy; for any of us.
Be encouraged today in knowing that God can remodel your life into the life you want and into the life He wants for you.
