Look Up, Not Down!
“……..weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning.” Psalm 30:5, NKJV
There is much to be said about having a positive outlook on life. There is no doubt that life will have its ups and its downs. And that means we will have our ups and downs as well.
One day we may look at life’s events in a positive way and the next we may look at them in a negative way. A positive outlook has to do a lot with attitude and the attitude that we have is always our choice.
Our scripture for today reminds us that life will have times that we weep but things will be better soon. This too shall pass is a statement from an attitude that is fixed on the positive and not the negative.
This too shall pass serves a reminder to us that we are on our way up not down, emotionally speaking.
Be encouraged today in knowing that the troubles you face are temporary. You’re not on your way down but you are on your way up.
