Don’t Give In To The World
“And do not be conformed to this world…………” Romans 12:2, NKJV
If you have ever been a part of a debate or argument, you understand what the word compromise means. It means to give in to what others believe and give up a little of what you believe.
Our society, today, seems to be in direct conflict with the word of God in so many areas. The only way we will ever get along with that conflict is to compromise what we believe and become a little more like the world and a little less like Jesus.
However, when it comes to religious convictions, the rest of the world will never be satisfied until we give up all of our beliefs and join them completely in their beliefs.
That’s why our scripture for today reminds us that we cannot be conformed to this world.
You may be labeled as ugly, or mean-spirited, or hateful, or cold, or many other things but remember this world is not yours, you are just passing through.
Don’t let the world rob you of your beliefs and convictions. Do not be conformed to this world or be changed by this world.
