God Takes The Difficult And Makes It Simple
“And this is a simple matter in the sight of the LORD…….” 2 Kings 3:18, NKJV.
To see a miracle of God, you also see the quietness with which He does it. No fanfare, no trumpets sounding, no announcements, just the raw power of God.
God does not long for, or need, the sensational to be a part in His miracles. We, as humans, may expect such fanfare prior to the miracle we’ve been praying for but the truth is God most often does the unexpected.
It is when we learn to expect the unexpected with God that we will most often see His miracles even without some heavenly announcement.
Our scripture for today reminds us of the fact that that which seems huge and unsurmountable to us is but a simple thing for God. There was no water in the Wilderness of Edom for all the cattle and the men.
The story tells us that without wind or rain, the valley was filled with water for all to drink. God supplied the water needed without all the usual things that accompany the filling of a great valley with water – rain.
Learn to expect the unexpected with God. He walks and works in those terms. The when, where, and how of your miracle may very well come from an unexpected source.
Walk by faith today. Expect the unexpected today. Your problem is but a simple matter in the sight of the Lord.
