Why Jesus?

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” John 3:16, NKJV

Why did Jesus, the Son of God, have to come into this world and die for sinners like me and you?

The motivation for Him sending Jesus into the world was love. The most famous verse in the Bible tells us this: “God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son” (John 3:16).

The reason Jesus came to this earth, lived a victorious life, and then died as the one lasting sacrifice to reunite God and human beings was love.

God desires to have a relationship with you. He desires to reveal Himself to you, to shower His love and good gifts upon you, and to live with you forever. Why? Because He loves you with a unconditional and unending love.

Do you ever feel unloved or unwanted because of a particular situation you’re going through? You never have to feel that way again when you allow John 3:16 to fill your heart.

Be encouraged today in knowing that regardless of what you’ve done, God loves you unconditionally.
