Let It Go And Reclaim Your Life

“Bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do.” Colossians 3:13, NKJV

Sometimes we get stuck in a place in our life and we need to do whatever it takes to move on.

Forgiving another person is a place where we often get stuck. It is one of the harder things that Christ commands us to do as Christians.

A phrase that is easier said than done is “Just Let It Go”. However, in reality, that is exactly what is involved in these situations; just let it go.

There is never any situation in which unforgiveness can be justified before God.

Forgiveness does not mean that we deny our injuries, dismiss our pain, or lay aside all claims to justice.

It does mean that we must release that person from our own judgment and let go of any bitterness or feelings of revenge.

We are the main benefactor when we forgive someone. It will do more for us than it will ever do for the person we forgave. We will regain our peace, our integrity, our joy and our future when we “just let it go”.
