God Wants The Best For You
“But whoever keeps His Word, truly the love of God is perfected in him…” 1 John 2:5, NKJV
Most of us parents, if not all, want the very best that we can give to our children. It may not always be exactly what they want but we try to give them the best that we can.
The scripture for today gives us a promise that if we keep God’s Word, His love will be perfected in us.
In other words, as we keep God’s Word, His love for us will cause Him to always give us those things that are perfect for our lives at the time.
His love for us will not allow Him to give us something that would be bad or wrong for us. He will always give us that which is perfect and at the perfect time as well.
What great encouragement this verse is to us today! Whatever that need is in our life right now; God will only give us the perfect solution for that need.
