Trust Is Important
“Every word of God is pure; He is a shield to those who put their trust in Him.” Proverbs 30:5, NKJV
Trust is an important factor in any relationship. Without trust the relationship becomes extremely hard and maybe impossible.
If parents can’t trust their children, the relationship is stressed. If children can’t trust their parents, the relationship is stressed.
If husband or wife can’t trust each other, the relationship is stressed. This fact about trust could be applied to every relationship we could mention.
It is important that we trust God completely or our relationship with Him will not be a healthy one.
Real trust is all or nothing. We can’t trust God half-heartedly. In order for trust to work, we must trust God totally and completely.
Our scripture for today tells us that when we put our trust in Him, He becomes our shield. A shield is designed to protect a soldier from the enemy’s weapons. But the soldier has to trust the shield for the shield to work.
The same principle applies to us and our trust of God. Trust God today completely with every care and every need that you have. He will not disappoint you.
