It Can Happen To The Best
“Therefore let him who thinks he stands take heed lest he fall.” 1 Corinthians 10:12, NKJV
Never be fooled in thinking that you are above a fall in your long-time commitment to Christ. I’ve seen it happen to the best of Christians.
Remember this; the nearer you get to the Cross greater the battle becomes. Satan aims high. He went amongst the twelve, and singled out the treasurer, Judas Iscariot, and the chief apostle, Peter.
I am told that the only side upon which Edinburgh Castle was successfully assailed was where the rocks were steepest, and where the garrison thought themselves to be secure.
If any man thinks that he is strong enough to resist the evil at any one point he needs special watch there, for the tempter comes that way.
Remain sober and watchful for your enemy is always waiting for a moment to sneak in and ruin your life. None of us are above that happening. None of us are so good we cannot stumble in our Christian walk.
Be encouraged today in knowing that Christ is on this journey with you. Lean on Him and do not trust in your own strength.
