The Curse Of Unbelief
“Now He did not do many mighty works there because of their unbelief.” Matthew 13:58, NKJV
Unbelief is a curse to the saved as much as it is to the unsaved. To the unsaved, unbelief will keep one from being saved.
To the saved, unbelief will keep one from seeing the mighty works of God that exist far past our salvation.
Unbelief will keep back the miracles of God now as much as it did in the days of Christ.
In our scripture for today, we read that in one place Christ could not do many mighty works because of the unbelief that existed in the people.
If we consider ourselves to be saved then we would probably be willing to say; “I have enough belief to be saved”.
On the other hand, if we consider ourselves to be saved; then do we have enough belief to see the mighty works of God, like miracles? Some Christians believe that miracles ended when Christ ascended back into heaven.
They will never see a miracle of God because of unbelief.
Do not let unbelief rule your faith. If you have enough faith to be saved then you should be able to have enough faith to believe that God can do anything and everything.
