What Killed The Dead Sea?

“It is more blessed to give than to receive.” Acts 20:35, NKJV

We have been to the Dead Sea in Israel on several occasions. It is the lowest and the saltiest place on the planet. It is 9.5 times more salty than the ocean.

No fish can live in its waters, hence the name, Dead Sea.

What makes the Dead Sea dead? There are several rivers that find their way into the Dead Sea. What makes the Dead Sea dead is the fact that nothing ever flows out of the Dead Sea.

Our scripture for today encourages us to be a giving individual. It also tells us that it is more blessed to give than to receive.

We receive more blessings by giving that we ever do by what we receive. One has to be a giving individual to understand that concept.

When we begin to keep everything God has given to us and not giving back, it won’t be long before we will be like the Dead Sea, dead!

Don’t be like the Dead Sea. There are more blessings in the giving than there is in the getting.
