This Fight Is Not Over
“…Do not let your heart faint, do not be afraid, and do not tremble or be terrified because of them; for the LORD your God is He who goes with you, to fight for you against your enemies…” Deuteronomy 20:3-4
Ever since the Garden of Eden, God has had enemies. Ever since His birth in Bethlehem, Jesus has had enemies. Ever since they decided to follow Christ, Christians have had enemies.
Satan and anyone he can get to follow him will oppose anyone that chooses to follow God.
Jesus said, “If the world hates you, you know that it hated Me before it hated you.” John 15:18, NKJV.
Currently, Christians, in other parts of the world, have been murdered because of being a Christian. Recently, a county clerk in Kentucky was arrested because she refused to do something that went against her Christian faith.
Our scripture for today encourages us as the people of God not to give up because of those who might oppose us because of our beliefs. God will go before us and fight for us.
This fight will continue till the battle of Armageddon that will take place in the end times when God and His armies will defeat satan and his armies in the Valley of Megiddo in the Holy Land.
Do not grow weary and do not faint in your commitment to God and do not grow weary in your personal convictions. The Lord will be with you and go before you. That is the promise we have in our scripture for today.
