Fight To Keep Your Hope Alive
“Be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart, all you who hope in the LORD.” Psalm 31:24, NKJV
The Definition of hope: – “To look forward to something desired with expectation and confidence that what is desired will be obtained”. Example: someone may say, “I hope I feel better”.
If and when we lose hope about any situation, we take the first step toward giving up on that situation. Psalm 31:24 tells there are two very important things we maintain as long as we hold onto our hope; those two things are courage and strength.
Courage and strength are needed to face this life. Life can bring us some hard days. I have found that in life that we reach a time when life begins to take things away from us. Our health, peace, loved ones and happiness would be to name only a few. In those experiences, it is very easy to lose hope.
Keep hope alive! Sometimes you just have to make your mind up not to give up. Keep hope alive! When you do, courage and strength will be by your side even during your hardest days.
Today, determine to keep hope alive in your heart.
