The Importance Of Your Faith
“I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.” Galatians 2:20, NKJV
The story of the Christian life can be seen in this one verse. It speaks of our salvation through Christ and then it speaks of our life that we now live which can only be lived “By Faith”.
This life requires much more than feelings, much more than what we can see and much more than any experience that we might have. This life will require faith in Christ, not only for our salvation, but also faith for our daily walk with the Lord.
It is one thing to believe in and about Christ but it is another thing altogether to trust in Christ for the daily trials that we might face.
We can be saved by our faith but we are also sustained by our faith. There are many days when this life is difficult and there are days that make no sense at all. Those are the days that we must walk by faith.
Once you are saved, learn to trust Christ with both the small and the big trials that may come through your life. Try not to get in His way as He works out all the details of your life. Remember, if God brought you to it, He will bring you through it.
