We Can’t but God Can
“But Jesus looked at them and said, “With men it is impossible, but not with God; for with God all things are possible.” Mark 10:27, NKJV
Many people cannot accept the virgin birth by faith so they can’t believe in God. Others cannot accept the resurrection from the dead by Christ so they are doomed to a life lost.
In our verse for the day, there is great encouragement given us regardless of what situation we might find ourselves in for it tells us of the limitless power and the unlimited possibilities of God.
There are many things that are impossible with man. The list could go on forever of the things that we cannot do. At times, we are frustrated with what we cannot do.
In contrast however, the unlimited power and possibilities of God is more than we can understand at times. God can do anything and everything. Nothing is impossible with God. These statements may be hard for man to grasp but they give man the hope we need to place our complete trust in God.
There may be some things in your life, right now, that you cannot fix nor change. There may be some people in your life, right now, that you would like to help or change, but you cannot reach them, even with your love.
If so, maybe now is the time to rest all your efforts in the promise in this verse that God can do anything, with things, situations, and even people. To do this, trust and patience will need to become your best friends.
You will need to trust God with the way that He brings about His will in the situation. You will need to be patient with God as to when He will bring about the solution that you are longing for. His ways are not our ways. His times are not our times. Trust and patience are your best friends in what you seek.
