The Simple Solution
“My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.” John 10:27, NKJV
Life is full of trying to make the right decisions and trying to take the right directions in life. Sometimes we make it more difficult that it needs to be when we try to make all those decisions on our own without seeking God’s way or His wisdom.
Our scripture for today gives us a simple solution to our dilemma of making the right decisions as we go through life.
There are two things we must do to take this simple solution. We must simply listen and follow. Listen to Him and follow Him is the simple solution that we can follow in order to know with assurance that we have taken the right paths and made the right decisions in life.
Be encouraged today in knowing that those decisions you are trying to make may not need to be as hard to make as they seem to be.
Listen to Him also means we must first talk to Him about the decision and ask Him for His wisdom and guidance. Then, we must listen intently and quietly for Him to speak to us. When He has revealed to us what we should do, follow Him without question or hesitation.
The Bible always works but we must first work the Bible.
