Giving Thanks Today
“In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.” 1 Thessalonians 5:18, NKJV.
Today is Thanksgiving. Our family would like to wish to your family the best of all Thanksgivings.
Our verse today encourages us to give thanks to God regardless of what you are going through personally. No doubt, there are some difficult things going on in your life, as there is in mine.
In spite of the difficult things you are facing, give thanks today and as far as that goes, give thanks every day. That’s what the verse is telling us to do.
Sometimes it might be hard to be thankful because of what we are going through. That may be when we need to be the most thankful. The Bible tells that God inhabits the praises of His people.
If you want God to be in the midst of your problems, give Him thanks for all that you have, and for all that He has done for you, and even for the difficult times in your life. The will of God for you today is to give Him thanks.
