There Is Power In The Blood
“For the life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have given it to you upon the altar to make atonement for your souls; for it is the blood that makes atonement for the soul.” Leviticus 17:11, NKJV
There is a great old hymn entitled, “There Is Power In The Blood”. The blood in our body is essential for our body. The shedding of the blood of Jesus Christ was essential to the salvation of our souls.
Those who believe in that doctrine have been accused of having a “bloody religion” by those who do not hold to the teachings of the Bible. The truth is that our sins are covered and thereby forgiven by the blood of the lamb.
The Lamb of God is none other than Jesus Christ and there is no other name under heaven by which a person can be forgiven for their sins.
Jesus Christ, Himself, said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except by me”.
There is power in the blood. The power of your blood gives you life. The power of Jesus’ blood gives us eternal life and washes us clean from our sins.
I hope your sins are covered by the blood of Jesus. He freely gives this salvation to all who ask.
