Paid In Full
“For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.” 1 Corinthians 6:20, NKJV
This verse tells us who we are and who we belong to. We have been bought and paid for. Our sin put a price on our life and God paid that price with the death of His only Son, Jesus Christ.
We are forgiven, the cost of our sins have been paid in full by Jesus Christ, the Son of God. He loved you and me so much that He allowed His Son to pay the death price to redeem us and save us from hell. Hallelujah!
Therefore, that word therefore means that’s not the end of this story. Therefore, give God the glory for doing that for us. Give God glory in the body and in the Spirit for what His Son did for us on the cross.
And now we belong to Him. We are His. We have been fully paid for and bought and we are His property.
Now we are to bring Him glory in our body and in our Spirit. Bring glory to God through your good works that bring God glory. The Bible says, “Whatever you do, do all in the name of the Lord.” We are to do it for Him! And, we are to things that will bring Him glory and honor.
Let us do that today. Let us bring Him glory and honor by our works and our words. To God be all glory and honor!
