Lemons or Lemonade?
“But may the God of all grace,…………, after you have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you.” 1 Peter 5:10, NKJV
God can take the bad events in our life and turn them into something good for us. I have seen Him do that dozens and dozens of times in my life and in the lives of others. God can surely take a lemon and make lemonade out of it.
Our scripture for today reminds us of that truth. We all have suffered from some trial in this life and most likely there are more trials yet to come.
The promise in this verse is that our suffering has some positive results upon our character that would not come except by the suffering. That is the principle; out of lemons can come lemonade.
Be encouraged today by the fact that the God of all grace is doing something supernatural for you in your trials. You may not see it today and you may not see it tomorrow but one day you will know that you are a better and you are a stronger person because of the trial you have gone through.
