This Is The First Day Of The Rest Of Your Life
“Whereas you do not know what will happen tomorrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away.” James 4:14, NKJV
Life is a gift from the Lord, Himself. This day is a gift from Him also. The bare truth of this life is that our life could end any moment.
The reality of this life is that it is far too brief and we are not promised one more moment of this precious day.
We don’t know what this year will bring. We don’t even know what tomorrow will bring. Today is the first day of the rest of your life. Take advantage of this day to realize the truth of this reality and be sure that you begin this new year right.
If there are things you need to or want to change in your life; you can do just that with God’s help. Begin this year with a new attitude and a new determination to be all that God would have you to be.
It may not be easy but with God all things are possible. It’s done one step at a time but you have to take that first step. Don’t put it off till tomorrow!
Take advantage of this day to start something that maybe you have been putting off for some time. Today is the first day of the rest of your life.
It’s your life and it’s a gift from God. Now, go out and do something with your life. God is right beside you.
