What A Mess!
“………He leads me beside the still waters.” Psalm 23:2, NKJV
Watching the evening news, one might ask; what’s this world coming to? Indeed, what is this world coming to? Another question might be; where is God in all this mess? And a third question might be; what should I do as a Christian with all this trouble?
Allow me to answer those three questions.
First, the world is coming to the return of Jesus Christ. When do you ask? I don’t know and no one knows but scripture is clear on this point; Christ is coming again to this world in power and glory.
Second, God is on His throne in all this mess. His perfect will is being carried out day by day. Read the Bible and you will find that He told us these troubling days were coming.
Third, we are to stay faithful to God and follow Him. He will protect His people and He will lead us through these trying times.
Our scripture for today reminds us that He will lead us and He will lead us beside the still waters. He will protect us from the chaos that is around us.
We can remain calm and be assured that God is on His throne and in control of the world that He created.
Be encouraged today in knowing that God is on His throne. He is not surprised by the events of this world nor is He shaken by the events of this world.
