Lord, I Can’t Do This
“But he said, “O my Lord, please send by the hand of whomever else You may send.” Exodus 4:13, NKJV.
When God asked Moses to go to Pharaoh, to convince Pharaoh to set God’s people free, Moses used every excuse he could think of, with God, to keep from doing what God wanted him to do.
In fact, I count at least 5 excuses that Moses used to get out of what God had asked him to do.
Most of us can relate really well with Moses. We too may say or at the very least say, “Lord I Can’t Do This”. So then the excuses began to come.
I have used so many excuses with God that He can say at any time; Riley, I’ve heard all this before.
After all of his excuses, Moses was reminded that God will be with him and will, in fact, be Moses’ strength. It is in our weakness that God’s strength is best seen.
Has God asked you to do something that you convinced you can’t do? Have you used all the excuses that you can think of trying to get out of what God would like for you to do for Him?
Be encouraged today that God is able to step in and replace your inabilities with His ability.
He will replace your weakness with His strength. You may not be able to do what God is asking of you but with His help and with His presence, you can do anything.
