The Path Of God
“A man’s heart plans his way, But the LORD directs his steps.” Proverbs 16:9, NKJV
You can always tell where God is working because lives are changed and sometimes plans are changed. God leaves some big tracks wherever He has been and wherever He might be leading us. Just follow His tracks and you will be in His will.
We have made many plans for our life but our plans are not always the plans that God has for us. We have to follow the tracks He is making in our life to see which way He wants us to go.
Far too many times we cut God off before He can give us a better plan than we had. Our patience runs out, our arrogance gets in the way, our pride gets in the way and BOOM! God is left out.
God is concerned about the big decisions in our life as well as the small decisions we make during the day. God knows the best way for us to go. Our challenge is to find that direction and follow Him.
The way that He has made for us may not be the way that we would choose but it is always the best path to take in the long run.
Two major things we have to do in order to follow His tracks; prayer and being sensitive to leading of the Holy Spirit.
Pray for God’s direction and then be sensitive to how the Holy Spirit leads you. We are told in scripture that one of the many purposes of the Holy Spirit is to guide us into truth.
Be encouraged today in knowing that you can know the plans God has made for your life. Pray and don’t stop praying to have a clear answer from God. Follow the leading of the Holy Spirit till you have complete peace about your decision.
