Give Jesus Some Praise Today
“……To offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.” 1 Peter 2:5, NKJV.
“Praise the Lord” is a common expression today. Some see it as a catchy slogan while others have tried to commercialize it.
Praising the Lord remains the believer’s expression of love and gratitude to a God who has been abundantly gracious to him.
When someone famous is introduced to a crowd today, they are often introduced with the words; “Let’s give it up for……….”and the applause and praise begins for the one introduced.
Our scripture for today encourages us to “give it up for Jesus”. We are to offer up our spiritual sacrifices as praises to God.
You won’t have to look very long before you will find many things to give God praise for.
We get so caught up in our daily schedules that we often forget how grateful we should be to the Lord.
We get so caught up in our daily problems that we often forget to be grateful for the many good and wonderful things in our life.
Give Him praise today even if you don’t feel like it and even if it’s difficult to do so because of the many problems you might be dealing with.
