He Is Precious
“Therefore, to you who believe, He is precious……” 1 Peter 2:7, NKJV
Is Christ precious to you?
We count many things precious in our life. We count our family as precious, we count our possessions as precious and we count many other things in our life as precious. These things are vitally important to us and we would not want them out of our life for anything in the world.
Do you look upon Christ as precious? When you think of Him or when you compare Him to other things in your life that you consider precious; does the word precious come to mind when you think of Christ?
When you think of His sacrifice for you, He is precious. When you think about His forgiveness, He is precious. When you think about the cross, He is precious. When you think about His grace, He is precious.
When you think about His love for you, He is precious. When you think about His abiding presence, He is precious. When you think about His comfort, He is precious.
When you think about His majesty, He is precious. When you think about His gifts, He is precious. When you think about His goodness, He is precious.
Come to think about it; every time you think of Jesus Christ, He is precious.
Be encouraged today in knowing that of all the things you count as precious in your life; let there be another that is precious; your Savior.
