The Words of Life
“……the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life.” John 6:63, NKJV
Living brings the flesh and what does the flesh bring us? It brings us what the world has and what does the world currently have that you really cannot live without? The bad news; more rioting; more bickering between politicians; possessions that will be worn out in a year or less? Is that life?
Surely there is more to this roller coast ride that we call life. Where is the life that brings the joy and the peace back again?
Our scripture for today tells us that the words that come from God are spirit and they are life! The flesh profits nothing but His words bring life, real life.
Be encouraged today in know that there are words of life in the book we call the Bible. Read it and study it and find a church where it is preached from front to back as the infallible, perfect word of God.
