Even More Than Superman
“Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think …” — Ephesians 3:20-21, NKJV
Superman is a fictional cartoon character that has gone from comic book to a Hollywood film because of his superhuman powers that make him able to do anything.
With this devotional, let me introduce you to the reality of who is more than any super hero that might be in the movies. Our scripture for today reminds us of the biblical truth of the One and only One who really is able to do anything.
God is more than able to do far beyond all that you ask or even imagine. We, as humans, know and understand limitations. We are limited in so many ways. However, we have a mighty God that knows no limits in his abilities. God is more than able.
The verse for today, offers us a great promise about our God’s abilities, and thereby, reminds us of our great comfort as one of His children. We may be unable but He is all able. Praise the Lord!
Be encouraged today by not looking at your difficult situations as impossibilities but rather look at them as a great possibility for God.
God cares for you. God is able to do for you what you cannot do for yourself. God is more than able! What He has done for others, He will do for you!
