God Can Deliver You Out of Your Circumstances
“And Moses said to the people, “Do not be afraid. Stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord…..” Exodus 14:13, NKJV
Have you ever felt you were in a situation where you could see no way out? Maybe a time that was very difficult and you just could not see anything changing in the future?
Our scripture for today reminds of the story of Moses and the Hebrews right after they left Egypt after 400 years of slavery.
The Red Sea was blocking them from going forward and the Egyptians had followed them, to take them back to Egypt, and now Moses and the Hebrews were trapped with no way out.
In response to their situation, Moses instructed them to, “stand still” and see the salvation of the Lord. God was about to deliver them in a miraculous way.
Sometimes in the situations of our life, we see no way out of the dilemma in which we find ourselves. We can see no answer or solution for the problem.
In those times, we should take the advice of Moses; “stand still” and watch for and wait for the salvation of the Lord.
Stand still; do nothing; wait patiently for God to bring deliverance in His own way and in His own timing and in His own way.
Your deliverance will come as it did for the Hebrews as they were standing on the banks of the Red Sea with no way out of their dilemma.
Be encouraged today in knowing that your deliverance is coming. Wait patiently for it and stand still so you can see what God is about to do in your life.
