Let The Past Stay The Past
“…for God is love.” 1 John 4:8, NKJV
One of the hardest things for us to do is to believe that God really loves us. That was hard for me to do when I was first told about Jesus Christ and His love for me.
It was hard for me to believe that He would love me and that He would love me so much that He would die on a cross for every sin I had ever committed.
Satan has a way of convinces us that we are so bad that God could never love us. Sometimes, we don’t even love ourselves and we cannot see how a Holy God could love us.
Don’t let satan rob you of the joy and comfort in knowing that God loves you; regardless of your past or your present, God loves you.
How and why does God love us this way? Because God is love!
Once we can overcome that hurdle; of knowing that God really does love us just the way we are, then we can begin to really put the past behind us.
Accept God’s enduring love for you today and put the past behind you and begin to claim your future as a child of the King.
