How To Put Power In Your Prayers
“Until now you have asked nothing in My name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full.” John 16:24, NKJV
Does it matter how we pray? I think it does because the Lord taught us how to pray in The Lord’s Prayer. That is not the only way we can pray but He gave us a pattern for our prayers. Does it matter in what name we pray or how we end our prayers?
Some may disagree with me here, and that’s alright, but I do believe it makes a difference how we end our prayers. I believe that based on this verse; it is where Jesus tells us to ask it in His name.
His name makes a difference, even in our prayers. As much as I respect Moses, I would not pray in his name. As much as I respect Mary, I would not pray in her name.
We were not told to pray in the names of Moses or Mary; we were told in scripture, by Jesus Himself, to pray in His name.
When we pray in the name of Jesus, we get the attention of God.
There is no other name under heaven whereby man can be saved except Jesus. There is power in His name, even when we pray in His name.
