Are You Running With The Right Crowd?
“Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands in the path of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful;” Psalm 1:1, NKJV
There is no doubt that our friends can have great influence over or words, our actions, end even our life.
It is important we know that we are friends with people that will influence us in the right direction.
Our scripture for today reminds us that we will be blessed when we avoid those who would influence us away from God.
We may have friends that are unsaved and we may enjoy their company immensely but we should never let their friendship influence us to do something that we know is wrong just for the sake of their friendship.
You being a Christian may not always be popular with your unsaved friends. We can be firm in our beliefs without being rude and judgmental.
We should always strive to influence our unsaved friends to recognize that Jesus Christ is the only answer this world has for the problems that plague this world.
Be careful who you choose to be your friends for they can bring great joy into your life or they might bring great grief into your life.
