Take A Deep Breath, It’s Going To Be Fine
“Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth! The LORD of hosts is with us; The God of Jacob is our refuge.” Psalm 46:10-11, NKJV
Is the preparation for Christmas just about got you down? It’s no wonder with all we try to cram into a few days. All the cooking, the shopping, the buying, the wrapping, the traveling, the visiting, the standing in lines, the cleaning, and the eating is enough to wear all of us out.
When you feel like you about to go over the cliff; take a deep breath; it’s going to be fine because God’s got it for you.
Remember it’s all about Jesus. All the rest of the activities should point to Him anyway. Make it about Him and not about all the other stuff and your Christmas will be fine.
If Jesus had His way, Christmas would be simple and slow and truly joyful. We are the ones that have put everything else into Christmas that has made it stressful, hurried and pressure-packed.
Slow down; take a deep breath; and enjoy what God wants to do with your Christmas plans.
